Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback singer, actress and musician. Her work is primarily focused on Tamil or Malayalam-language movies. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut with Annayum is in the film. Andrea Jeremiah has been raised in a Tamil Nadu Anglo-Indian home. Andrea's dad was an Madras High Court lawyer. Andrea is the youngest cousin of an assistant researcher in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah grew up close to Chennai and went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a the classical piano at eight years old, was called an "geek" and aspired to be a psychiatric until her 12th grade board exam. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group which she joined at age 10 was the foundation for her singing as well as composing music. She worked as a stage performer at her college and was a part of in several plays produced in the form of The Madras Players, EVAM and other theatre groups. Andrea was picked to play the character following the actors Simran Tabu and Tabu were approached. The film came out in early 2010 In 2011, she accepted the role of a support in the film. Venkat Prabhu starred in Mankatha. It came out on the 11th of August in 2011. Annayum Rasoolum by Rajeev Ravi, the romantic comedy film she made her debut in Malayalam with was released on August 11, 2013.
