Lis Wiehl was born on August 19, 1962 and is a former Fox News legal analyst.
She is currently an adjunct law professor in New York Law School. In the past she was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. The analyst was a lawyer on National Public Radio's show along with The Radio Factor hosted by Bill O'Reilly. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Imus morning show as well as hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl she was born and grew up within Yakima located in Washington State, graduated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She earned her bachelor's in English from Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She was the legal correspondent of NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's imposition. Between 1995 and 2001, she was a tenured law professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle and was in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
