Chamberlain claimed that her family depended on the talents of her father, and they had to endure "hard times" when he became ill. Her school was Central Middle School, San Carlos, California and Notre Dame High School Belmont. The school was an all-girls Catholic preparatory school was where she was a participant in cheerleading and track. For five years, she was a cheerleader and was part of the California All Stars Pink cheer squad. 10 years old, she left high school during the initial semester of her junior year and graduated with a passing score on the California High School Exit Exam.
